With over 20 years of specialized experience, I am deeply dedicated to supporting children with sensory integration challenges, including those on the autism spectrum and other special needs populations. My expertise as an occupational therapist (or similar specialist) focuses on helping these children develop essential sensory processing skills to thrive in daily life. My passion for this work stems from personal experience: growing up with a brother and an aunt who had developmental disabilities, I discovered early on that I felt naturally at ease and effective in connecting with and supporting individuals facing these challenges.
I incorporate the evidence-informed principles of Relationship Development Intervention (RDI®), utilizing its structured stepping-stone objectives to create clear, progressive pathways for growth. This approach equips me with a comprehensive framework to confidently guide both children and their parents through targeted developmental processes—fostering dynamic intelligence, emotional connection, social coordination, and flexible thinking in everyday interactions.
It is profoundly rewarding to witness the meaningful transformations that unfold: stronger family bonds, greater independence, and joyful stories of progress shared by the families I have the privilege to serve.
